Harry Potter star Emma Watson, who is currently living in the in the US, misses her native England's food and chocolate.

When asked what she misses the most while in America, Watson said, "The food, the food! Marks & Spencer's food. I miss English chocolate,"

The 19-year-old actress is pursuing her studies at the Brown University in Rhode Island and has realised the value of a life in England, reported Fox News online.

Speaking about the British sense of fashion, Watson said, "It's so funny because now that I'm in America, I'm more able to define it. Before I didn't have an awareness of another style. I think (British style) has to do with the weather. We have terrible weather. It's very grey and drizzly so we need things to cheer us up."

"And I think that leads to a lot of creativity and colour, and I think that's why our designers are so innovative. We have great vintage and we love to mix and match: high street and high fashion, vintage... and I think that really defines it as well," she added.

Rihanna's "Rude Boy" Holds At #1

Rihanna's hit single "Rude Boy" has held on for a second straight week at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. It beat out a strong push from Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's controversial track "Telephone" and also came in ahead of "Nothin" from hip-hop newcomer B.o.B.

"Rude Boy" first hit airwaves back in February and debuted at number 64 on the chart, jumping into the top 10 after only two weeks.

"Rude Boy" is Rihanna's sixth number one song and her fifth as a lead artist. The track is Rihanna's third U.S. single from her current album, Rated R, which came out last November.

Rihanna is currently preparing for her upcoming European tour, set to kick off on April 16 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Paramore Touring Across Europe & North America This Summer

Paramore will tour Europe and North America this summer, beginning at the Southside Festival in Germany on June 18. The band will wrap up the European leg of the tour on July 2 in Belgium and then head back across the Atlantic to kick off their U.S. 2010 Honda Civic tour, which will take them through 29 cities from July 23 to September 19.

"We are so excited to be headlining the Honda Civic Tour and to hit all these great cities and see our fans across the
country," singer Hayley Williams said in a statement. "We have a killer lineup and can't wait until July."

The tour will also feature Tegan and Sara as openers, along with two more acts that have yet to be announced.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to the group's fan club at 3 PM on Monday, March 29, with additional pre-sale tickets available through the tour's official site on Tuesday. The general on-sale date for most of the shows is Saturday.

Precious alert! Taylor Swift and Glee cutie Cory Monteith were spotted out together in Los Angeles last night.
The pair, who has been wrongly relationship-linked a few times, had some good old fashion all-ages fun bowling at Pinz in Studio City.
So how lovey-dovey was the duo, pictured here closely chatting last night?
Don't worry, Cory, 27, and Swift, 20, kept it totally PG.
Damn, damn, damn.
Clearly, Taylor needs to make certain she's not heading into skanky John Mayer love hookup territory and get her sweet on with a dude like Cory pronto, right?
Maybe she will:
"They came into [Pinz] last night with a small group of people," an onlooker at the bowling ally says about the two cuties. Oh, and BFF Selena Gomez was part of the bowling crew, too.
"They were all extremely polite, ordered food and just had a good time."
So were Tay and Cor getting frisky at all? Says our spy:
"It didn't look especially romantic. Just seemed like a group of friends out having some fun."
We know that after Swift's split with Taylor Lautner she and Cory supposedly went on a few dates, but we're told the two aren't BF-GF status quite yet.
Says an insider close to the noncouple:
"They're both really busy. They're friends, though. Who knows what will happen."
The Glee hunk played coy when we asked him about the Taylor Swift rumors earlier this month, giving a nonanswer that would surely please any publicist.
But pictures don't lie.
Maybe T & C are more than friends. We give them kudos for hanging at a random place instead of dining at some paparazzi haunt in Hollywood à la Tay-Squared. Still think they're in the friend zone, though.

Avril Lavigne just can't make up her mind between Brody Jenner and her ex-husband, Deryck Whibley...so she's seeing them both!
A source tells E! that Avril and Brody are definitely dating.
"She met Brody at Koi a couple months ago and sent him over shots and figured he and his friends would be a fun group to hang out with," says a source close to the pop star. "But their friendship quickly turned romantic when she started having a crush on him."
The two have been cooking dinner and watching movies together, but Avril has recently been "backsliding" into her rocker ex-husband's arms...
"She disappeared with Brody for two nights last weekend and is flip-flopping nights between her ex and Brody," a source tells E!.
In addition, the singer has gotten new tattoos with both boys in the last month, says the source.

(2) BE A RESPONSIBLE TOURIST
Visit tiger sanctuaries and national parks and discover our country’s natural heritage. But please remember that the wilderness is to be experienced, not to be polluted by packets of chips, etc.
(3) Speak Up
Write a letter or an email to editors of popular newspapers and magazines, asking them to support the cause and highlight the urgency to save our tigers. The more people we can reach and inform, the stronger our roar will be.

Jersey Shore Season Finale Recap: "That's How the Shore Goes"

All good things must come to an end. So, too, must the first season of Jersey Shore, and The Hollywood Gossip has all the action recapped below as only we can.
Last night's ninth and final episode of the MTV hit's inaugural run was somewhat subdued and sentimental (seriously), which wasn't a bad thing. Let's get to it:
Pauly D's girl says the gang is "acting like Israelis." Vinny's reply: "Israelis are like [machine gun noises, gestures]." Equal opportunity stereotypes! Minus 3.
Vinny, Pauly D, and Mike head out for some male bonding. Plus 4, because this surprisingly normal behavior makes them actually look like chill dudes. Almost.
Sammi bails Ronnie out of jail after his latest fight. They hug. He says he's not sorry he hit the guy, only that he got caught, blah, blah, we're bored. Minus 5.
Upset over guys, Snooki decides to dance away the pain. Solo. In broad daylight. People stare as if this were the first Oompa Loompa in a white, leopard print mini dress they've ever seen break it down in front of a camera crew. Plus 6.
Pauly D: "We stayed boys throughout this whole thing. This bond that we shared brings us together and no one can ever take that away from us, ever. Like, we take that with us for life, this bond ... That was deep." It sure was. Plus 4.
Sammi and Ronnie go out on a date, "somewhere out of Seaside ... getting away from it all." In Belmar, an even trashier location 17 miles up the coast. Minus 3.
The pair toasts each other and their future, post-Shore. Actually kinda sweet. Plus 2.

We learned last night that Vinny thinks Pauly D is "ridiculously, ridiculously good looking." Pauly D's look to the camera said it all. He's the ultimate guido! Plus 9.

Revolting as watching Snooki maul The Situation might seem, he was actually being genuinely nice to her, before, during after making out. Plus 6 for his sensitive side.

Tiger Woods' Marriage: Definitely Not Over!

Tiger Woods' scorned wife has not left him yet, according to new reports, and it looks like she may not do so anytime soon, if at all! Are he and Elin making it work?
The golfer's marriage is "definitely not over," a source says, and that's because he realized he was about to lose everything when his cheating ways were exposed.
After Elin Woods threatened to take their children away from him and move back to Sweden permanently, Tiger fought to stop her - and he has, at least for now.
"Elin could have filed for divorce already but she hasn't," the source added.
"Of course, she has not indicated definitively that she planning on staying with Tiger, but what's happening now is crucially important."
What's happening now is Tiger is in sex addiction rehab in Mississippi.

While Elin is no longer wearing her wedding ring, she's canceled plans to file divorce papers after Tiger pleaded that he would do what it takes to make things work.
The threat of Elin taking their two young children and moving back to Sweden went a long way to convincing Tiger to go to rehab, where Elin has not been yet.
She may visit him there as part of his rehabilitation process, however. Tiger's program calls for her to spend seven full days of counseling with him in the facility.
After Tiger's affair with Rachel Uchitel was outed by the National Enquirer, he was linked to at least a dozen mistresses and his secret double life was exposed.

Britney Spears: Quoting Family Guy, Acting Weird

If you thought Britney Spears had recovered her lost marbles after two years of relative calm, think again, say hotel staffers who have seen her Stewie impression.

According to reports, Britney, who has a history of odd behavior (and British accents, no less) is baffling staff by impersonating the baby from Family Guy.

The pop star has taken to trotting around the Mondrian Hotel reciting Family Guy quotes and mimicking the troubled child, who speaks with a British accent.

A source said: "Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy. She's been staying in the hotel's penthouse suite and has been watching box sets."

"She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent. It's a bit weird, though, especially when she's in the gym speaking like a camp Brit."

We have nothing to add.

For those unfamiliar with Stewie, who's voiced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, he's obsessed with world domination and plots to kill his own mother.

Sounds kinda like Britney, come to think about it! If her feud with dad Jamie keeps escalating, he should probably watch his back, too! Girl's gone haywire!

Andy Dick Arrested For Sexual Abuse

Alleged comedian Andy Dick was arrested in West Virginia on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse this morning. Talk about a _______ move!
Dick was released from jail in Barboursville, W.V., after posting $60,000 bail. The owner of the Funny Bone, where he performed last night, posted bail.
According to officials, Dick was talking to a guy when he "unexpectedly, and without invitation, grabbed the victim's crotch, groping, then kissing him."
Also, the security guard at the bar is claiming that Andy Dick "grabbed his crotch and began laughing" when the guard tried to give him an armband.
Dick was in town performing at the Funny Bone in Huntington, W.V. Manager Tom Schaefer says Dick will go on stage Saturday and Sunday as planned.

One of his alleged victims last night? Phillip Daniels, a bouncer at Rum Runners, who says Dick tried walking past him when he entered, without taking a wristband.
Daniels says he stopped the comedian, put the band on his wrist ... and Andy grabbed his crotch. When he pulled away, the guy says, Dick laughed and walked off.
"You could tell he was really out of it. He was on something," he said. A male patron also says Dick also groped him at the same location. Police were soon called.
The bouncer says someone called the cops, who showed up 20 minutes later, inquiring about Andrew. A few minutes later they departed with the Dick in handcuffs.
You may recall that the man is currently on probation over an incident at a chicken joint, where he was busted for sexual assault and copped a plea to battery in 2008.
He faces 1-5 years in prison if convicted this time. Andy's lawyer says Andy "is stunned by these allegations" and denies wrongdoing. If so, then what's with this

Jersey Shore Cast Wants Fat Raise From MTV

The cast of MTV's Jersey Shore would love to run it back for Season Two ... if the price is right, which it's currently not. The gang rejected MTV's offer to return.
Sources close to the negotiations say MTV offered then each a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode. The guidos and guidettes were not interested.
Looks like we've got a Situation on our hands!
The cast has made it clear that they are negotiating Friends style. In other words, everyone wants the same amount and wants a lot more than MTV's offer.
In response, the network doubled its bonus offer and is willing to cough up $10,000 an episode. Snooki and Co. have not responded to the counteroffer.

As much as they act like trashy morons, the gang wasn't born yesterday. The season finale drew 4.8 million viewers, making $10K/episode a relative steal.
For reference, some members of The Hills cast are raking in $50,000-100,000 an episode, and that was pulling in half as many viewers last season at best.
The cast is on contractual hold with the network for another year and technically has no right to renegotiate, but this sort of thing is still done all the time.
MTV technically has not made a decision on whether there will be another season, or whether it will feature the current lineup or new guidos and guidettes.
But come on. You know they're gonna bring back the all-star roster. It's just a matter of finding a mutually acceptable price for those Jersey Shore quotes.

Oslo, Norway - The ruling king of the Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak, and the President of the United States, Barack Obama, had a chance to meet yesterday in Norway.

As announced already before, Rybak is set to perform at today's Nobel concert in Oslo, Norway. Sadly, it was also revealed that the winner of this year's prestigious Nobel Peace Prize, president Barack Obama, would not be attending.
Luckily, Rybak still got the chance to meet Obama! Just before the banquet last night, the president wanted to meet all the artists who will perform tonight and so he did.
"It was absolutely fantastic. It was very fine, it was clear that he is a great personality. The atmosphere was a little tense, but very good," said Rybak to NRK.no.
Alexander also had long talks with Wyclef Jean, Westlife and Will Smith and later he went to the studio with Wyclef to play one of the songs of the rapper.
Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and scored one of the biggest European hits this year with his Fairytale.

A football game in formal wear sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, but if it's unintentional comedy ABC is going for, then it's safe to say they scored a TD.

Tiger Woods Visited By Child Protective Services

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) escorted by deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Department, visited Tiger Woods' home Saturday.
Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Department confirmed that "our deputies met with members of the Department of Children and Families."
The details are being kept secret, but the mid-day visit to Woods' home came after the DCF received a complaint. From whom, and for what, we don't know.
A rep for the DCF later said in a statement that it was a "well-being check." It is unclear if Tiger and/or Elin Woods were in the house at the time of the visit.

The visit was not specifically an investigation into Tiger and Elin Woods, but a routine procedure after a complaint is lodged. The department not only evaluates safety of children but adults in the house after it receives word of potential trouble.
Typically, investigators from the DCF evaluates the safety of a home for kids after a domestic violence incident is reported - and we're pretty sure there was one.
The new twist in the seemingly endless scandal clearly stems from the alleged fight with his wife that led to Tiger's wild one-car accident just after Thanksgiving.
Tiger and Elin Nordegren Woods, who married in 2004, have two small children, ages 2 years and 10 months. There are rumors she plans to divorce Tiger soon.

ABC Kisses Off Adam Lambert Again

Adam Lambert was honored by Barbara Walters this week as one of the most Fascinating People of 2009.
However, during the special, ABC special did NOT air a clip of the same-sex kiss that took place between the singer and his keyboard player at this year's AMAs.
Said the network in its defense: "It was an editorial decision to show very little from the performance and focus on the fresh, new interview with Adam Lambert."
Hmmm... sounds fishy for two reasons:

The interview largely focused on the kiss.
The network did show Lady GaGa kissing a woman during an interview with that superstar, saying of the difference: "The Lady Gaga kiss was used quickly in context of things that upset her father."

ABC added:

"The network has a solid record of showing gay men and women in primetime, which is why GLAAD has given ABC top honors for the positive portrayal of gays and lesbians for the past several years."

That may be true, but Lambert fans can't get over the double standard applied to this burgeoning star. Will ABC's statements satisfy his rabid fan base? If you're included in it, you tell us!

Jamie Jungers and Holly Sampson: Prostitutes!

Looks like Jamie Jungers and Holly Sampson, numbers four and seven, respectively, on the ever-growing Tiger Woods mistress list, are a couple of hos.
No, seriously. They are high-end escorts.
Here's the deal: One of the biggest madams in the U.S., Michelle Braun, pleaded guilty to money laundering and sending a prostitute over state lines.
Among her "employees" as high-end escorts were Holly Sampson and Jamie Jungers, and she (and later TMZ) can supply the tax forms to prove this.
Michelle Braun used Global Travel Network, or GTN, as a front to pay her escorts, which include the two aforementioned blondes linked to Tiger Woods.
While Jamie Jungers and Holly Sampson, based in Las Vegas, allegedly received payment from GTN, the documents do not show that Tiger paid GTN anything.
Nor should we assume he did. Guy clearly didn't need to!
The madam says both they compensation for "introductions" to men. One wonders if that's how Holly got Tiger's bachelor party a gig (she nailed him there).
Jamie, meanwhile, is set to "tell all" on Today tomorrow. Wonder if she'll be asked about what she charged by the hour to "escort" men. Somehow we doubt it.
So many Tiger Woods mistresses, so many unanswered questions. Rachel Uchitel isn't gonna like this, though. Better get crackin' on those STD screenings.

Yes, the girl who used to drive aimlessly around Hollywood wearing a pink wig and making out with her paparazzi boyfriend, is back on her feet, emotionally that is.
TMZ is reporting that a "capacity expert," a psychiatrist appointed by the court who conducts a thorough evaluation and submits it to the commissioner, will make the final decision as to whether or not Britney's conservatorship will end. Britney's father Jamie Spears has one reservation however, Britney's old leach Sam Lutfi, who Jamie considers to be a threat to Britney if she allows him back in her life.
Britney is apparently covered by two conservatorships, one over her personal life and one over her business affairs. The conservatorship over her personal life is what will be ending - however the conservatorship over her business will likely continue.

Rolling Stone readers love Green Day ... a lot. In the magazine's Decade-End Readers' Poll, the Berkeley-bred punk/pop trio grabbed the #1 spot for Best Single, Best Album and Top Artist of the '00s.
As the #1 single, readers picked the ballad "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," one of two Green Day tunes that made the cut, along with "American Idiot" (#13). The rest of the top five were Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," U2's "Beautiful Day," Britney Spears' "Toxic" and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together."
Also getting love in the top 15 were Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, Kelly Clarkson, the White Stripes and Coldplay.
A number of acts notched two albums on the list of the decade's top releases. While Green Day took the #1 spot with American Idiot, Radiohead landed at #3 (Kid A) and #5 (In Rainbows). All Is Said and Done: An Interview with Vertical Horizon

If there is any one person that a Rush fan should thank for reuniting the prog-rock giants after the band took a long hiatus in 1997, it’s Vertical Horizon’s frontman Matt Scannell.
Wait. Who? And from what band was he?
After Rush’s drummer, Neil Peart, saw both his daughter Selena and wife Jacqueline pass away within a matter of a year, the legendary rock icon took some much-needed and much-deserved time away from the Canadian trio. As questions arose concerning whether the band would ever manage to return, Peart—who took off on his motorcycle for a journey that lasted somewhere around 55,000 miles—found himself listening to pop radio more than usual. As fate would have it, he happened to fall in love with a song by Vertical Horizon called “Everything You Want,” and—according to Scannell, who would later meet and become friends will Peart—the song inspired the drummer to get back into music.
It’s true: one of Rush’s biggest fans became one of Rush’s biggest reasons to return to music.
“Rush is absolutely my favorite band of all time,” Scannell said. “So when I met Neil for the first time, and he told me that story, it was the most amazing thing. He just seemed so genuine.”
Scannell knows a thing or two about bands being on hiatus. After running into a series of unfortunate events with their record label at the time (RCA) and the merger of Sony/BMG, Vertical Horizon never got a fair shot at releasing an immediate follow-up to their 1999 smash album, Everything You Want. Though VH’s follow-up album—a slightly more rockin’ effort titled Go—did eventually see the light of day (twice actually: once in 2002, and again when it was re-released in 2005 with Hybrid Recordings), Scannell is quick to note that sometimes, a record’s success may be more dependent upon the nature of the beast that is corporate music than one could ever imagine.
“When we were going through our breakup with RCA, we kind of got lost in the shuffle,” Scannell said. “We were sent to work with Clive Davis and it’s safe to say we were not Clive’s favorite band. [The label] then took their time in letting us go from our deal. It was a torturous time.
“It had a big effect on us. We all felt disconnected from one of the reasons why we got into music, and that was to feel a connection. You have to be in love with music and you have to be strongly connected when you make music. We needed to feel that connection to continue to do what we want to do as a career.”
The disconnect felt between the band members and the label eventually took its toll on everyone, according to Scannell. That feeling of discontent led to the band stepping away from Vertical Horizon after the release of Go.
“We were just so worn down after all that,” he said, referring to the situation with RCA. “I think we needed to step back. Nothing was definite. We weren’t ‘breaking up’ or ‘going on a hiatus.’ We just haven’t been extremely active lately.”
While the band itself hasn’t been busy, Scannell himself has managed to stay active.
“Even though Vertical Horizon hasn’t been working that much, it hasn’t been a break for me,” he said. “I’ve done a lot of producing work, really trying to hone my craft. I want to work to get better at what I do, especially songwriting. I need to be a better producer, too, which is why I’ve been doing some work with Richard Marx. I’m also helping Daniel Powter [“Bad Day”] work on his new album. I’m always trying to get better.”
Constantly trying to “hone his craft,” as Scannell put it, has led to good things for the songwriter. While staying busy writing songs over the past few years, he began to realize that his work was turning into a new Vertical Horizon record. That new Vertical Horizon record has now turned into Burning The Days, a release that features the band in their most aggressive light yet.
Tracks like “All Is Said And Done,” and the album’s lead single, “Save Me From Myself,” are easily some of the moodiest songs that the band has ever penned. Though the former eventually opens up to sunny days with a friendly chorus, the track’s verses set a somewhat angst-ridden tone that can be discovered throughout the entire album. “Save Me from Myself,” on the other hand, uses a stammering guitar line throughout that finally bursts into flames as the song crescendos during the chorus. Couple that with a line like “Happy endings all around / And still they haunt me” at the end of the track’s final verse, and what you have is a somewhat darker side to a band that fans may be a bit surprised to hear.
“I struggle with being a ‘glass half-empty’ kind of guy,” Scannell said when asked about the heavier tone his words set throughout Burning The Days. “It can be pretty boring, and not a lot of fun to be around. I get weary and suspicious of happy songs. The truth is that I am a happy person, but I always want my lyrics to come from an honest place. When I first started writing songs, I picked up my guitar to work out my demons. Sometimes, I return to writing to try and help me get the darkness out. I firmly believe that somewhere, something is always deteriorating, but somewhere, something is always healing.”
The album’s tone may be helped by the abundant work done while collaborating with Peart, who plays on three of the album’s tracks, including “Even Now”—a song Peart not only plays on, but helped write. Though his presence is minimal, it is clear that Burning The Days could not have come together without the help of the famous drummer.
“It was a beautiful thing to work with Neil on this record,” Scannell said. “But it was extremely different to work with him. He brought a bunch of lyrics to the table, and I’ve never worked that way. We are both very meticulous and obsess over the smallest things. We are both perfectionists and we both have this desire to make sure everything is done right. He is very confident and trusts his instincts in ways I can’t attain. Then, on top of that, he has an incredible skill set, as we all know.
“I knew he had never played on anybody else’s record, but when we got done writing ‘Even Now,’ I thought to myself, ‘I have to ask him to play,’ expecting him to politely decline the offer. But when we got done, I said to him, ‘You know, I have to ask you to play drums on this.’ He shocked me when he said, ‘You know what? No one else can play drums on this song.’ I immediately booked this great studio in L.A. for a day, and it didn’t take him long to finish tracking the song, so I asked him if maybe he could do a couple more songs. It was during [Rush’s] Snakes & Arrows time, so I knew he was busy, but he did it. I ended up producing the drum session for him, too. It really was a beautiful, beautiful time.”
The release of Burning The Days comes as something more to Matt Scannell than just a Vertical Horizon record. The album itself turned into an opportunity to realize his dream of working with someone who has now become a good friend of his, Neil Peart. But aside from this incredible collaborative opportunity, Burning the Days breathes new life into a band that the singer has now been involved with for nearly two decades.
“I sincerely believe in this record,” he said. “The biggest misconception about this band is that it’s a radio band, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We started by getting on the road and worked through a grassroots way of touring, way before we were successful with Everything You Want. People are familiar with us, so we may be able to resonate with some individuals because of our past successes.
“Music is not about ‘what if,’ it’s about ‘what is,’” he added. “It’s about dealing with things that must be dealt with and saying things that must be heard. As long as you do that, you will remain relevant, and that’s what we are always trying to do.”
Then, after pausing for a moment to reflect on the intentions of Burning The Days, he continued with enough optimism in his voice to scare all the possible darkness out of the words that help create the mood of his band’s latest album.
“I guess we will find out what happens,” he said. “We just want to be given a chance.”

NEW YORK — One of Madonna’s New York neighbors says the superstar’s loud music and frequent dance sessions are pushing her over the borderline.

Karen George, of Manhattan, lives above Madonna in a building on Central Park.

She said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building’s co-op board that the Material Girl is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, forcing neighbors to endure "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls," for 90 minutes to three hours each day.

George complained about "unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music" and vibration pouring through walls, ceilings and radiators.

The building’s board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna.

Madonna’s representatives didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Say you’re the mastermind behind dozens of hugely successful songs and your nickname is the Hit Man. You should know the secret to making a hit, right?

Not so, says songwriter and producer David Foster.

Foster - who has won 15 Grammy awards and boasts a client roster that includes Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Madonna and the late Michael Jackson - still can’t put his finger on what makes a smash.

“I do know that I always try to create a moment in every song where I can imagine - if the artist is doing it live - that the audience would break into applause,” Foster said from his home in Los Angeles. “The most obvious one would be when I did ‘I Will Always Love You’ for Whitney Houston. There’s that big moment at the end where the drum hits and it changes keys. Those kinds of moments, in a more subtle way, I try to put into every song. But I have no clue what’s a hit record. I mean, I don’t know.”

If Foster can’t articulate the magic formula, he can at least bring it with him. The man with the platinum touch is taking his parade of hits on the road for a tour that stops at Agganis Arena on Sunday.

The show is modeled after his PBS special, “David Foster and Friends,” the highest-pledged PBS show in history. In Boston, Foster will host and provide piano accompaniment to Peter Cetera, Philip Bailey, “American Idol” winner Ruben Studdard and finalist Michael Johns, and Oprah-approved, 18-year-old sensation Charice

“I’ve been a behind-the-scenes person my whole life,” Foster said. “You sit in a room with no windows and you just pound this music out year after year. You send it out to the world and you don’t really know who you’re reaching. So this is a way of instant gratification. People sing along with your songs and you go, ‘Wow, that’s pretty cool.’ ”

The show will also include the two winners of a talent search.

“I think ‘American Idol’ has (the talent search) cornered,” Foster said. “The rest of us are just sort of playing around compared to the way they’re doing it. But there is something natural about young singers thinking that they could have a chance to sing for somebody. I’m a person who’s in a position to really help them.”

At 59, the British Columbia-born Foster says his longevity in the industry stems from his willingness to adapt. Which he has: The No. 1 album on the current Billboard 200 is Michael Buble’s Foster-produced “Crazy Love.”

““When music changes, I’m trying to think like a 16-year-old,” he said. “It’s impossible. But there are other ways to be successful musically. That’s why I have artists like Michael Buble. The last album sold 5 million records. We’re not getting him on Top 40 radio, but we’re probably selling more CDs than the Black Eyed Peas.”

Foster, who has a Christmas album with Andrea Bocelli on the way, says he doesn’t plan on throwing in the towel anytime soon.

“Clive Davis is 77 and still going strong,” he said. “I think I could easily put in another great 10 years. I’ll probably take my last breath in this recording studio. It won’t be for a while, I hope.”

Green Day to Exhibit Art Based on Their Music

Green Day are to exhibit a collection of art inspired by the music on their most recent album in London later this month.

21st Century Breakdown - The Art Of Rock is a group of 21 pieces of original work commissioned by the band.

The exhibition, which coincides with the Californian band' s forthcoming UK arena tour, begins on 23 October at London's Stolen Space Gallery before concluding on 1 November.

Lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong said: "We feel a strong connection to that type of creative expression; we think the fans coming out will love it."

Hicks experience

The collection is curated by stencil artist Logan Hicks who appeared in Banksy's Cans Festival in London last year.

The show features contributions from a number of international artists including Ron English, The London Police and C215.

Hicks said: "I chose artists whom I felt had a similar visual approach to art as Green Day does to its music."

The trio's UK arena tour begins on 19 October at Glasgow's SECC.

According to the liberal American blog Think Progress, Matt Latimer's Speech-Less: Tales of a White House Survivor reveals how politicised the medal, which is America's highest civilian honour, became during the Bush administration.

Latimer, whose memoir was published last week by Crown in the US, says that the "narrow thinking" of "people in the White House" led them "to actually object to giving the author JK Rowling a presidential medal because the Harry Potter books encouraged witchcraft".

The medal is given to "individuals who make an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavours". During the Bush administration, it was awarded to individuals including Tony Blair, Harper Lee, Muhammad Ali, Alan Greenspan, Nelson Mandela, Doris Day and Charlton Heston.

Just the other day I was trying to clean out my desk (anything other than study exactly!) and I came across the letter that I received from the HP casting dept. It was a reply to a tape I sent long before the open audition, long before the release of Goblet of Fire even, on my own initiative. They did reply and kindly told me that there were no openings on the film at the minute and that also nationality played a big role in casting. Plainly put, it looked like the cards were against me and I’m sure I felt that way at the time. I’m not saying this to big myself up (cos I know they use this on press releases etc. etc.), I mean to remind you how fine the line is between reaching a goal and not. I wasn’t an actress with connections or anything particularly distinguishing. This is why I hate the probability chapter in my maths book. Manifestation doesn’t take into account how many chances you have. If it happens it happens and it didn’t matter what anyone else told you. Sorry to annoy any mathematicians out there but I don’t believe in probability! Sylvester Stallone was obviously glowing with pride at being awarded a film-making prize today.

But it was more than just the flush of success that was contributing to the Rambo star's slightly orange and frozen complexion.

The 63-year-old appeared to be wearing heavy facial make-up and there was barely a wrinkle to be seen on his forehead when he arched his eyebrows at the Venice Film Festival today.

Wearing a slick grey pinstripe suit and blue tie, the actor looked a world away from his long-haired Rambo character.

Stallone obviously wanted to look his best, as he is due to receive the Jaeger-Lecoultre Glory To The Filmmaker award.

During the presentation of the award, there will be a premiere screening of sequences from The Expendables the new film written by, directed by and starring Stallone.

The all-action film also stars Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Oscar-nominee Mickey Rourke.

It tells the story of a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.

There will also be a screening of the director's cut of Rambo which will end the 66th Venice Film Festival.

Sylvester Stallone previously attended the Mostra in Venice on two occasions, in 1999 as the star of Cop Land by James Mangold, and in 2003 as an actor in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over by Robert Rodriguez.

No, he's not Mother Teresa, but Grammy-nominated artist Akon.

The hip-hop collaborator from Senegal took time off from his busy schedule to talk with Forum Publishing Group writers Mike Rothman and Dave Dipino about the Second Annual Think Pink Rocks Charity Concert coming up Oct. 3 at Mizner Park in Boca Raton.

He also discussed his inspirations, past and present, and even let the world know for the first time about his new album Stadium Music, set for release before the World Cup in 2010.

MR: Hey Akon, what's going on? Where are you calling us from right now?

Akon: I'm at home in Atlanta.

MR: We just wanted to thank you for taking time out to talk with us and I am going to throw things over to Dave to get this started.

DD: With the album Freedom what were your goals and aspirations, and almost one year after the album's release, do you feel like you've accomplished those goals?

Akon: With the Freedom album my goals were to expand my horizons with the Euro Market. A year later I'm very happy with the cross marketing we've done outside the domestic markets.

DD: Can you talk about the song Keep You Much Longer and where you were coming from as an artist when you wrote that song?

Akon: It's about trying to make it [in my career] while I'm heavily involved with my girlfriend. But, there's no time for her and eventually the tables turn and she has no time.

MR: I read on your website that you are currently working on your next album. After your last album Freedom in 2008 with its autobiographical, heartfelt nature, what kind of identity do you want for this album?

Akon: Every album is a different situation. This album is more experienced-based with the more experiences I have had. The album is called Stadium Music and I am setting this whole album up for the World Cup 2010. I'm making a bunch of crowd, stadium-type dances and anthems that will be for the soccer hype. When the World Cup in 2010 comes along, people will have that party music to dance to.

MR: You have worked with hundreds of amazing artists, including T-Pain, Eminem and Michael Jackson. Is there anyone in particular that you were extremely excited or in awe of working with?

Akon: Oh MJ, hands down. I was shocked that he even wanted to work with me. I was working my career so that I could one day work with him and then found out that he already had plans and wanted to work with me. It happened so naturally.

DD: Is there anyone you've yet to work with that's on your list?

Akon: No. I've already covered everyone on my list. I can't think of anyone I haven't worked with It's forcing me to actually create new artists and try to find new talent.

MR: Obviously you are a very charitable person with initiative like the Konfidence Foundation and the website, IsThereSomethingICanDo.com. How did you get connected with Think Pink?

Akon: A friend brought it to my attention three years ago and told me how it was for breast cancer and a good cause. I told him to just count me in.

DD: Has cancer affected you or someone you know with in your life?

Akon: No absolutely not. I was blessed actually because no one in my family has even been affected. I would like to be able to know more about it and be able to about it when it happens or if it happens.

DD: What do you hope to accomplish and what can the fans of your music expect for the Oct. 3, Think Pink Concert?

Akon: We had a great time last year. I know this year will be an incredible time. As for collaborating, we'll see who's down in Florida that I've collaborated with and ready to jump on stage with me. Kardinal Offishall always pops up when I go somewhere. He's always there.

DD: Can you tell me about your record labels?

Akon: Kon Live and Konvict Muzik are my two record labels. Kon Live is more pop with Lady Gaga as the franchise [over there] at the moment. Of course T-Pain is on Konvict Muzik.

MR: One of your most recent single, "Sexy Bitch" has an insanely contagious beat that I have had stuck in mead head the entire morning. Thank you by the way.

Akon: No problem.

MR: With Sexy Bitch, what were the inspirations there?

Akon: That song is actually also going to be on "Stadium Music." I put it on David Guetta's album because I am not dropping an album this year, and I wanted get everyone familiar with what they are about to hear from me next year with "Stadium Music."

MR: I also heard you don't drink or smoke, how does this affect or help your concentration with your music?

Akon: It definitely helps me focus on my music that I don't drink or smoke. This way I don't make any bad decisions.

Linkin Park's Bennington Talks New Band, Debut

Dead By Sunrise's debut album, "Out of Ashes," doesn't come out until Oct. 13, but frontman Chester Bennington is guaranteeing it will be a going concern, though always subject to the demands of his other band, Linkin Park.

"We'll make records when we can," Bennington -- who started forming Dead By Sunrise, originally as Snow White Tan, in 2005 -- tells Billboard.com. "I don't think people should expect to see an album every couple of years. I'm definitely not going to tell Linkin Park, 'Hey, can you guys take some time off so I can go work on Dead By Sunrise?' That's not gonna happen. But we definitely see this as something we'll continue to do. This isn't a one-time thing for us. Every five years or so I could imagine there'd be a Dead By Sunrise record."

And, Bennington adds, his bandmates in Linkin Park have become his "No. 1 support group" for Dead By Sunrise.

"I think they see how much time I put into it," he says, "and they definitely can tell these songs are different from what Linkin Park is doing. I still contribute 110 percent to Linkin Park. I think they know (Dead By Sunrise) is not something I would do if it meant jeopardizing what we have in Linkin Park."

With the album's first single, "Crawl Back In," already out, Bennington -- who co-produced the album with Howard Benson -- and the Dead By Sunrise crew are itching to play some live shows in support of "Out of Ashes." "We really are looking forward to going and playing small venues for a few hundred people," he says, "and really having the people who want to hear us play getting sweaty with us and having speakers right in their faces and blasting them pretty loud."

The fledgling group will also offer fans some bonus material, including a cover of the Misfits' "20 Eyes" and acoustic renditions of the "Out of Ashes" songs, some of which will be available for download with the purchase of the album.

While he's preparing for "Out of Ashes' " release, however, Bennington is also in the studio with Linkin Park working on the band's fourth album. Rick Rubin is again on board as co-producer, and Bennington says the group would like to have the set out by mid-2010 but "won't put anything out until we can pull a batch of super-stellar songs together."

"We're really experimenting a lot with sounds and time signatures and (song) structures," Bennington reports, "really not being constrained by any kind of preconceived ideas that we might have ourselves. So it's really promising."

Last month, Jay-Z brought Winfrey to Brooklyn, where the media mogul interviewed the rapper for her magazine and talk show. A few days after their discussion, Winfrey doted over Jay-Z on her friend Gayle King's radio show. She remarked how good the rapper smelled and called Jay her new best friend.

In an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday (September 9), it was Jay-Z who was full of praise as he talked up West. The producer manned the boards for the majority of The Blueprint 3, including the first two singles: "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)," which he co-produced with No ID, and "Run This Town," featuring West and Rihanna. Eight years ago, with the original Blueprint album, West was only a rising producer until he landed the lead track on that project, "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)."

Jay-Z said he's taken notice as West has evolved from upstart to superproducer. The outspoken younger artist was more of a quite protégé during the recording of 2001's The Blueprint. Now, however, Jay said being in the studio with West is more of a collaborative effort, particularly on this latest project.

"The most interesting thing in the studio was Kanye, because of Kanye's growth," he explained. "You got to figure on the first Blueprint, he was a new producer, so he was just putting in the beats and moving out the way. On this one, he had an opinion about how the songs should sound, and it was just great energy that we had in the studio."

I’m not really a TV-watching person, thus, yesterday’s presscon with pop princess Sarah Geronimo was my first interactive experience with the said artist.

She has a sunny personality and a sense of humor. She laughs a lot and answers every question sincerely. She’s more beautiful in person than on print (I often see her on print).

Again, Sarah clarified the news that she said that she wanted Gerald Anderson to be her leading man. This so-called statement that she made earned the irk of Kim and Gerald’s fans. “I understand them. If I were in their place, I would have felt the same when you try to separate a love team that’s already been long going,” said Sarah. “I have no intention of separating the Kim and Gerald love team or what they have in their personal life,” she said, smiling.

On her career choices, Sarah said that she’s more comfortable with being a singer compared to being a host and actress. “Singing had been my passion since I was a kid,” she said. When asked which one she feels like doing – a teleserye or a movie, she said she prefers the latter. “There’s more time while you’re doing a movie. When I did a teleserye before, my voice was affected by the late night shoots,” she added.

Between a recording and doing a concert, Sarah said that she prefers the latter. “Right at the moment of doing the concert .. the feeling is unexplainable. The feeling of hearing the public cheer for you is priceless,” she said.

When she was asked to choose between love and career, she joked, “Pwede both?” And with a serious tone, she said that “Career muna. I’m happy with the inspirations that I have. I’m already okay with the ‘kilig’ factor,” she said.

"He was a real pleasure to work with," Greene said Thursday (September 10) at the 46th Street Barnes & Noble in Manhattan. "It was kind of shocking. We met a few years ago. We had a nice vibe together. We felt like we kind of think alike. He was so easy to work with. I think he trusted me because he likes 'The 48 Laws of Power.' "It was exciting for me," Fif said. "Me and Robert, we started on this project ... we met in 2006. For a while, we've been compiling information to create it. Johnny Depp character, John Dillinger, is focus of museum on consequences of criminal activity

Opened in 1999, the John Dillinger Museum was later renovated and the focus was shifted to follow the theme “Crime Doesn’t Pay,” putting more of a highlight on law enforcement and the consequences of criminal activity.
The museum illustrates the life of Dillinger and other 1930’s gangsters and follows his path through the Midwest before he was caught and shot outside a Chicago theatre. The museum also covers the creation of the FBI.

On Wednesday, July 22, the 75th anniversary of Dillinger’s death, a special exhibit of three guns was on display temporarily. One was a wooden gun believed to be used when Dillinger escaped from the Lake County Jail.

During the filming of the recent movie Public Enemies about John Dillinger, starring Johnny Depp, the Lake County Jail and other sites in northwest Indiana were used.

The museum is located inside the Indiana Welcome Center, just off Interstate 80/94 at the Kennedy exit. The welcome center also hosts rotating exhibits in the W.F. Welman Exhibit Hall. Both the welcome center and museum are open daily.

Q. What attracted you to 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra'?

DQ: Well, I remember G.I. Joe from my generation. It's a little bit different now, the younger generation remembers it from the cartoon show. It seemed like it was going to be a lot of fun. It's a little bit like a cartoon show, a little bit like a modern action film, and it's also a little bit like a James Bond, old-style, back in the 60s with Dr. No and SPECTRE was taking over an island and taking over it's own criminal country, a threat to the entire world. So it's somewhat tongue and cheek, great action, just seems like a lot of fun, and I wanted to be a part of it.

Q. Is it true that your son wanted you to take up this project?

DQ: Yeah, I needed no coaxing to take the role, but got some at home nonetheless. My son is a big fan of the comic books and the animated shows, and he urged me, 'You gotta do 'G.I. JOE,' dad!'

Q. Tell us more about your childhood memories of G.I. Joe?

DQ: Well, I remember when Joe was spelled with upper and lower case letters. When I was growing up, G.I. Joe was very patriotic, very American. There had always been toy soldiers, but this was the first one to come with gear and a Jeep and things like that. Everybody wanted one.

Q. Do you see any change in today's G.I. Joe?

DQ: Now, G.I. JOE has become more international, more of a coalition, if you will, of international elite soldiers, who are out to keep the peace.

Q. Tell us about your role in the G.I. Joe movie?

DQ: I play the leader of the G.I. Joe unit, General Hawk. He is the authoritative, demonstrative leader who lets you know exactly what he's thinking, especially when you're on the receiving end of an order. He is a hardened, tough battle veteran who's seen a lot of missions and a lot of action. The character is a cross between General Patton, James Bond and Hugh Hefner.

Q. Finally what you have to say about the film?

DQ: 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' is a 21st Century state-of-the-art action film. It's a wild thrill ride that just pins your ears back. It's the kind of movie I like to go to in the summer.

Backstreet Boys have collaborated with the hitmaker behind Lady GaGa for their new album.

The group team-up with Moroccan- Swedish producer-songwriter RedOne after struggling to find direction when they started work on their seventh studio disc This Is Us.
RedOne, real name Nadir Khaya, worked on a number of songs for lady’s debut album The Fame , including the chart-topping singles Just Dance and Poker Face .
However, the boy band insists that they aren’t following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga for their new material.
"We racked our brains to rediscover who we were. We had to do something really different but still familiar. RedOne really wanted to be on our Black & Blue album - he said he’d studied us, and he’s written songs tailor-made for the Backstreet Boys," the Daily Star quoted band member Nick Carter as saying. Mission Impossible 4 in the works, Tom Cruise to act, J.J Abrams to produce

Set to release in 2011, a fourth film to the Mission Impossible franchise is starting to gain some momentum.
J.J Abrams, the director of Mission Impossible III and this year’s Star Trek has just assigned two writers to the project, Andre Nemec and Josh Applebaum. Those familiar with Abrams’ series “Alias” might recognize their names with executive producing credits from the show. They held that position for four seasons, and are now stepping up to the big leagues through Abrams’ “Bad Robot” company to work on a script for “M:I 4,” using a story they cowrote with Abrams.
As of now, Tom Cruise and Abrams are set to produce, and other than the two aforementioned writers are the only ones on board.
“I’ve been looking forward to working with Josh and Andre again for years,” said Abrams. “Their sense of balance between character and action is wonderful, which I know is hugely important to Tom as well. We’re off to an exciting start, so as usual, fingers crossed.”
The Mission Impossible franchise is a series that seems to focus more on meeting action blockbuster quota than serving a dedicated fanbase (because I doubt one really exists). Especially with the last two Mission Impossible films, explosions and stunts seem to have been key ingredients, not to mention the obligatory wire-hanging scene. It is rather unlikely that this franchise will ever reach beyond a good fix for scenes that involve Tom Cruise driving a motorcycle through some flames. There doesn’t seem to be much of a demand for one.
That being said, I will say something else. “If you make it, they will come,” mis-quoted from Field of Dreams, but certainly fitting for this series. Especially with Abrams’ fanbase growing with his recent Trek success, M:I 4 will definitely have an audience, not to mention those that still believe in Tom Cruise. While I found the third film to be mighty self-indulgent on Cruise’s part, (beyond action hero standards), there’s little reason to shut down a new film. The mission for part four and the others is simple: entertainment. Abrams definitely knows how to complete that task.

Add it doesn't hurt that the songs chosen to accompany the endless destruction of giant computer-generated robots are actually a lot more substantial than Megan Fox's outfits. .
Despite a strangely familiar melody line, Linkin Park's 'New Divide' continues the fist-pumping anthemic quality of their magnificent 'Minutes To Minute' album. Green Day's flag-waving '21 Guns' is not only a highlight of their recent '21st Century Breakdown' masterpiece but one of their best songs ever. .
Taking Back Sunday take you for a high speed chase down a crowded highway with 'Capital M-E', and Nickelback hit back hard with the appropriately named 'Burn It To The Ground', the ballsiest song off last year's 'Dark Horse'. The Used add some spark (and vocal distortion) to Talking Heads classic 'Burning Down The House', while The Fray's piano balladeering — think Coldplay without Chris Martin — provides the necessary respite from all the All-American cock rock exemplified by Staind's typically generic 'This Is It'. ..
Of the five tracks here not actually featured in the film — seemingly not a prerequisite for appearing on the soundtrack — Hoobastank showcase their brand new album with the slick 'I Don't Think I Love You' and Avenged Sevenfold channel vintage Metallica on 'Almost Easy'...
But Theory of a Deadman live up to their name on the lifeless 'Not Meant To Be' and Cheap Trick are senile enough to tackle a cartoon's theme song (token lyrics: "Transformers/ More than meets the eye").
But even that's easier to endure than Michael Bay's film..

Steven Adler in the clear over 2008 drug charge

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has had a 2008 felony drug charge dismissed after completing a court-ordered drug program.
The rocker was arrested in January for failing to complete a community service sentence stemming from a July 2008 arrest for possession of narcotics, being under the influence and for an outstanding warrant relating to a 2005 incident.
He pleaded no contest to the drug charge and was subsequently ordered to check himself back into rehab as part of a plea deal.
Adler appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday and was praised by Commissioner Donald Kennedy for working on his rehabilitation - and he was rewarded by having the felony charge dropped altogether, reports RadarOnline.com.
Speaking after the court hearing, his attorney Barry Gerald Sands admits the dismissal was "about the best you can get".
Adler's previous stints in rehab were filmed for US reality TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. He also participated in spin-off series Sober House.

"I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It's all the things I want."

Clarkson claims songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder sent her the ballad Already Gone without telling her he'd already offered the melody to Beyonce.
Sony Music executives ignored Clarkson's pleas not to release the track because it sounded too much like Beyonce's Halo - prompting her to publicly criticise Tedder and her bosses at the label.
But the Since u Been Gone Singer has consented to promote the tune, which she performed at a free concert on U.S. TV show Good Morning America, drawing thousands of fans to New York City's Central Park.
The singer explained earlier this week (begs27Jul09), "In the end, they're releasing it without my consent. It sucks, but it's one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It's kind of a s**tty situation, but... you know, you learn."

Digging-for-dirt case heads to Ohio grand jury

MARTINS FERRY, Ohio - A special prosecutor says he is reviewing findings of an investigation of two eastern Ohio police chiefs accused of illegally digging for tabloid material.

State agents have been looking into allegations that the chiefs illegally entered a home in May to obtain information about a woman carrying twins for actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. The surrogate mother was not home at the time.

"Once I'm done with the review, chances are I would not file charges directly," Harrison County Prosecutor T. Shawn Hervey told The Associated Press. "The next available grand jury is July 29, so that's where I'll go if charges do arise."

The chiefs are from Martins Ferry and adjoining Bridgeport, which are both in Belmont County.

Hervey said initial allegations against them were taken to the county sheriff's office. Officials determined that a special prosecutor from outside the county should handle the investigation.

The chiefs have remained on duty. Neither was available for comment Wednesday. Both have declined to comment previously.

Kenny Chesney is blasting a tabloid report that he and Jessica Simpson flirted in front of Tony Romo at a July 4 party just days before the couple's breakup.

"Tony's a friend, and I wouldn't flirt with a buddy's girlfriend," Chesney tells PEOPLE. "More importantly, Jessica was just being sweet and there was nothing else to it. It's not funny. There were no problems. Everybody got along great. After the party, everybody went their own way and nobody thought anything more about it. Period. End of story."

The party was thrown by Chesney's friend, Sean Payton, coach of pro football's New Orleans Saints, Chesney says.

"If a girl and her boyfriend can't go to someone's house for a Fourth of July party and talk to the other guests without it turning into a big nightmare ... , then I feel really sorry for Jessica and Tony, who're both really nice people," Chesney says. "I wonder if I wasn't famous if anyone would even care. But the fact of the matter is I talked to a bunch of guests, hung out, had a good time."

"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom's Hollywood Hills home has been burglarized, according to a report from TMZ.

The star was robbed of $500,000 in jewelry, including two expensive watches, after robbers broke into the home last night.

The scene has been fingerprinted and photographed, but no suspects have been named, TMZ said.

The thieves reportedly made it into the home through a window, although authorities said it did not look like a "typical burglary."

Bloom was in New York City at the time.
